A local client stopped by Westminster Speed & Sound with his beautiful 2020 Dodge Charger SRT392. As you can see in the images, it has a beautiful color combination and the optional wide body kit on it. The conversation initially revolved around window tinting, and he settled on our 3M Ceramic IR film for the side and rear windows. What led him to that film was the combination of heat and glare reduction it offers, along with fantastic cosmetics.
During our tint conversation, the topic of paint protection film came up. As we talked about the benefits of adding film that includes improved resale value and keeping the Charger looking new for a longer period of time, he was sold. We did the tinting first and installed the paint protection film about two weeks later.
When it came time to choose the areas to protect on this SRT392, we went down a slightly different path from usual, since the hood has a matte black paint on it. For that reason, we covered the whole front bumper and both front fenders along with the leading edge of the side mirrors. We also added protection film to the rocker panels and the complete rear fender area. The final touch was to cover the top of the rear bumper near the trunk opening.
As you can see in the final pictures, the car looked incredible when we were finished.
