GPS Mount In Corvette Meets The Needs Of This Hanover, PA Client

Today we hardwired a portable GPS unit in a 2002 Chevy Corvette for a client from Hanover, PA. This gave it the ability to turn on and off with the key, and not using the cigarette lighter socket. We installed it using a custom-fit bracket, allowing us to mount it without drilling any holes in the dash. The client did not want to keep sticking it to the windshield using a suction cup (which kept falling off in the cold!), and did not want it visible from the outside of the car. This custom GPS mount gave him the peace of mind he was looking for! Since the windows were already tinted, having the GPS unit lower on the dash will not draw attention to thieves.  It turned out great!
