When it comes to vehicle security and convenience, the DroneMobile smartphone control system is the industry benchmark. Imagine being able to remote start your car or truck from anywhere in the world. There’s no need to worry about remote range, as the system uses cellular Internet connectivity.
What is DroneMobile?
The DroneMobile system works with any of our Compustar remote car starters to provide an effectively infinite control range. Rather than a key fob that transmits radio-frequency information to your vehicle, DroneMobile uses the data connection on your smartphone and the Internet to communicate with the vehicle. If you want to remote start your truck on a cold morning, launch the DroneMobile app on your smartphone and press the start button. The system sends a command to the Compustar car starter in your vehicle to begin the warm-up process. No matter where you live or work, you are connected as long as your phone can access the cellular network. You can even log into the DroneMobile website to send commands. This is great if you happen to lock your keys in the vehicle.
Optional Security Features
The DroneMobile system works with a Compustar start/alarm combo with the Firstech Security Sensor. This adds impact and shock alerts, tilt detection, and motion monitoring. There’s even a built-in glass breakage sensor. If someone is tampering with or trying to steal your vehicle, you’ll get a notification on your phone in seconds. If you are worried about someone stealing a catalytic converter, a set of wheels, or your entire vehicle, this is a must-have upgrade.
Vehicle Tracking
The Drone hardware includes a GPS receiver. DroneMobile can show you where your car or truck is in just a few seconds. The system provides location-based alerts when the vehicle enters or exits a specific user-definable area. Do you want to know when your kids leave the house or arrive at school? The DroneMobile system will let you know. If the bad guys drag your pride and joy onto a flatbed, you can track the location and let the police know where to pick up your vehicle.
Drone XC Connected Dash Cam
The new Drone XC integrates a high-quality dash cam into the Drone hardware. Now, you can see what the camera sees on your smartphone. For example, if someone bumps into your car, you can see a video of the incident. The Drone XC includes impact, motion, tilt, and glass breakage sensors, providing near-instant security warnings on your phone.
