A client from Sykesville, MD came to us looking for a Ford F150 backup camera solution. He knew it would be MUCH easier to hook up to his boat trailer being able to watch the hitch line up to it as he moved the vehicle in reverse. We installed a high quality backup camera with a 170 degree viewing angle. The backup camera was mounted to the rear license plate, giving him a great view of all objects behind the truck including his boat trailer. We replaced the rear view mirror with one that had a 3.5″ monitor built into it. This monitor turns on automatically when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. The finished project worked great, looked great, and the client was excited that he would be able to hook up his boat trailer by himself on the first try without getting in and out of the truck!
