Today we installed a bass package in a 2007 Mazda 3 for a local Westminster MD client. They had already upgraded the speakers in this vehicle, and were looking for bass response to keep up with their nice door speakers. We installed a JL Audio JX360.2 amplifier and JL Audio 12W0 in a JL slot ported enclosure. The amp was mounted on the back of the back seat. We installed a device to allow us to integrate into the factory stereo, since he had no interest in changing the radio. It already did everything he wanted it to do. The client was very happy with the Mazda 3 bass package. The stereo jammed! It had plenty of crisp and clean bass.
